How do I login to Ebook Central in order to save books?

Users associated with the School of Medicine can log in to Ebook Central using their NetID. This will allow users to download content or save to a Bookshelf. NetID activation directions are available at https://libraryhelp.med.nyu.edu/faq/361625 Please note that while NYU Langone Health associated users may activate their NetID, log in access to Ebook Central will only work for users associated with the School of Medicine.

For all other users not associated with the School of Medicine, you will need to use your KID to access the Ebook Central site. Please note that KID users can view and read books online but may not be able to download or save to a Bookshelf.

Note: if after signing in via a NetID presents you with the following notice: "Sorry, your institution does not allow access to ProQuest Ebook Central from your current IP address. Please contact your librarian." try clicking the "Sign In" link a second time.
