Why do I see a "requested URL was rejected" message when trying to access a full-text article?
Occasionally, you may encounter a blank page with this message:
"The requested URL was rejected. Please consult with your administrator.
Your support ID is: 123456789"
Each time this happens, the support ID will be different.
How to fix the issue
- Try clearing your browser cookies, which may resolve the problem. Instructions vary by browser—click here for step-by-step guidance.
- If clearing cookies doesn’t help, submit a support ticket to MCIT. Be sure to include:
- The support ID from the error message
- The website you were trying to access
