Why do I see the error "Selected user account does not exist in tenant ..." when accessing library resources?
Some library systems give you the option of being authenticated by the NYULangone Identity Provider or the NYU Identity Provider. The message "Selected user account does not exist in tenant.." appears when the incorrect account was selected for the Identity Provider that was chosen.
The NYULangone Identity Provider requires accounts in the format <firstname>.<lastname>@nyulangone.org.
The NYU Identity Provider requires accounts in the format <netid>@nyu.edu.
Go back to the resource link and when prompted to Pick an account, select the appropriate account. If an account of the proper format is not among your choices, choose "Use another account".
Alternately you can go back to the resource link and chose the other Identity Provider.
